Hello! My name is Li Hua, and I am a freshman in senior high school. This week has been both exciting and challenging for me as I step into this new chapter of my life.
On Monday, the first day of school, I was full of anticipation. The campus was vibrant with students and teachers. As I walked through the gates, I felt a mix of nervousness and excitement. During the orientation, we were introduced to our new teachers and classmates. It was interesting to meet people from different middle schools. Everyone seemed friendly, and I hoped that we would become good friends.
Tuesday marked the beginning of regular classes. English class was particularly enjoyable because our teacher, Miss Zhang, encouraged us to express ourselves freely. She told us that English is not just about grammar and vocabulary but also about communication. We practiced speaking in pairs, which made me feel more confident about using English.
Wednesday brought some challenges. Math class was tough, and I found myself struggling with some of the problems. However, after asking my classmates for help, I began to understand the concepts better. It reminded me that asking questions is an important part of learning.
Thursday was a bit calmer. In history class, we learned about the founding of our country. It was fascinating to hear stories from the past and how they shaped our present. After class, I joined the basketball club, which gave me a chance to relax and make new friends.
Friday ended the week on a high note. Science class was hands-on, and we conducted experiments. It was fun to see theories come to life. At the end of the day, I reflected on what I had learned and realized how much I had grown already.
This week has been a whirlwind of new experiences. I’ve met great people, faced challenges, and discovered new interests. I’m looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me. Until next time, take care!
Goodbye!
