【事件类英语作文My（winter及holiday）】Winter holiday is one of the most exciting times for students. It usually comes in January, and it's a time when we can relax, spend time with family, and do things that we don't have time to do during the school term.

This year, my winter holiday was very special. I didn’t go anywhere far, but I still had a lot of fun. The first thing I did was to finish all my homework quickly so that I could have more time to enjoy myself. After that, I spent some time reading books and watching movies. I also helped my parents with some housework, like cleaning the house and cooking meals.

One of the best parts of my holiday was visiting my grandparents. We went to their village, where there was a lot of snow. It was the first time I saw such a big snowfall. We built a snowman together, and I even tried to make a snowball fight with my little cousin. Although I got cold and wet, it was really fun.

Another thing I did was to learn something new. I started learning how to cook some simple dishes. My mother taught me how to make noodles and stir-fried vegetables. It was not easy at first, but after a few tries, I felt proud of myself.

In the evenings, I often played video games or talked with my friends online. We shared stories about our holidays and planned to meet again soon. It was nice to keep in touch with them even when we were not together.

Overall, my winter holiday was not very long, but it was full of happy moments. I learned a lot, had fun, and spent quality time with my family. I think it’s important to take a break from school and enjoy life. I hope next year will be just as good, or even better.
